The assessment process involves one or more relaxed assessment sessions where we’ll explore your developmental history, current experiences and strengths using evidence-based assessment tools and clinical interviews. We’ll also ask you and, if you choose, people who know you well to complete questionnaires that provide further information.
Following your assessment sessions, your psychologist carefully reviews and integrates all of the information gathered. This information is interpreted using current diagnostic guidelines to develop a comprehensive clinical formulation and prepare your personalised assessment report.
We’ll meet to discuss your assessment results and talk through the findings in a supportive and collaborative way. You’ll receive your comprehensive report, have the opportunity to ask questions, and discuss personalised recommendations, supports and the most appropriate next steps.
